Puttin in da miles

A shout out to my friend Lee, without whom I would not have gotten started up again, Thanks girl!

Tuesday night I played ultimate and Wednesday Morning I thought I was gonna die! I played for an hour and a half straight tho so that is a drastic improvement.

Wednesday no run.

Weight 214.5

Thursday run at lunch in the crippling heat,

28:20 w/temps over a hundred. Walk run. Playing the light post game, where I run to one then walk to the next one and so on.

Weight 215.5 Grrrrrr
I need to formalize my diet as the wanton random Pizza will get me , I just know it!

Today's run was with heavy legs. I should qualify that what I am currently doing is NOT running, rather it is more akin to trudging.

Either way, I can feel fitness, or the desire for fitness creeping slowly toward me!

Weight:216.5
26:43 2 miles

Playing the streetlight game run from one to the next, then walk to the following one, the run...and so on. I feel like such a noob, learning to run all over again!

Peace out.

Refocus and redefine

Madonna at 50 is on fire!

While I am not a huge Madonna fan in terms of music, I have always appreciated her ability to reinvent herself. The latest incarnation has her not hiding her age, but celebrating it with surprising energy and enthusiasm.

Strong, Lean, Energetic. All traits I want.

I can get there but the road is long and arduous.

Things I want to update:

Music in my mp3 player
my shoes
my weight - tracking what I shovel into my Pie Hole!
my runnning time of day (switch to AM?)
my goal ( I need something to aim for)

I will update you as I accomplish some of these things.

Current weight: 217
Two mile time today : 27:57

Over a year

Wow how time flies.

Well I have been running oh so slowly, run walking really if truth be known.

I have swelled to 225 Lbs, a true clydesdale.

My current weight is 217 so I am heading in the correct direction.

I am having real trouble running as my legs are really not able to support this much weight properly during running. so much of the activity is walking, which is motion.

I can and will recover from this period of sedentarity (A new word I believe).

run/walking 2 miles 5 nights a week now.

Improving my diet each day little by little.

Hope you are well and happy.
