Been doing well.

Hello, just found out that through th3 wall is closing down. Kinda sad about that. I often did take much from Wil.

My running is coming along again. I am looking at Marathons again. Very nice. No need for speed, I think for now that part has past me by. Just to finish, will be enough.

Something is coming though for the Marathoner in me is not yet satiated.

I wonder if I should go get my knee looked at to see if there is actually an injury in there.

I want to know what it is like to run a hundred miles, there I said it. I can not imagine the time requirement. perhaps it would not be so much. 1 long run a week?....... I wonder.

5k or 3.1 miles. What used to be flirtation with the magic 20 minute mark is now something quite different. My sights have been adjusted significantly. now the 9 minute mile is the stretch goal. Fuuny thought it seems, this is the next evolutionary improvement.

27:54 is a 9 minute mile for a 5K, so the Goal is 27:53!

Oh and for those of you wondering about the shoes, it appears the Brooks are NOT the correct ones for me. My knees hurt and every time I get out of a chair it feels like a guitar string is plucked in my knee. Sooooo, I have gone back to the Ascis, time will now tell. I got a wide shoe too so I am nto positive this is exactly the fit I need. Still my knees do feel better, perhaps that is the additional cushioning.

It looks as though I will run some on the west coast in the next few days.
